Wicked Peacock walks the Runway

Show produced by Christina K. PierceWicked Peacock was excited to feature a selection of accessories in the latest runway show presented by Christina K. Pierce Boutique Fashion Agency.  If what we saw was any indication, Boston's upcoming Fashion Week is sure to be an amazing display of talent, silhouettes and fabrics.  The show featured looks by RUCH, Launch by Susan Young, Lily + Migs and debuted the line Shape of Birds.

Styles included 60's length, eyelet dresses and pant suits, cut-out waists and backs, in addition to secretary-style separates. Colors were a mix of bright orange and pinks, sequin trimming and wonderfully whimsical floral prints.

Behind the ScenesWicked Peacock showed a selection of  jewelry on the runway with the Chicago/Boston duo, Lily & Migs. Included in the mix, Swirl Earrings in Vermeil from Sikara, The Lava necklace by Magdalena Stokalska, Cuffs from Seven Halos and the Moon necklace from Bevin Jewelry. All of the jewelry worked exceptionally with Lily and Mig's latest collection, which was whimsical and sassy.

From the get-go the crowd was full-on fabulous! We were psyched to run into Michael Tornato of The Trendy Dwarf since it's not often he makes it to Boston from NYC. It was fantastic to see the Boston blogger community out in force! We spotted: Jaime of La Vie J'aime, Kristen of Boston Fashionista, Sami of Glimpse of Glamour, Zoe of Fashion is Freedom, Sarah of Boston Stylista, and Noelle of Rue Le Chat. It's always exciting to put a face to a name, and was great to catch up with the ladies!

Also in the crowd was the crew from Crush Boutique, Heleena & Leona of Urban Fresh, Bianca de La Garza, and one of our absolute FAVORITE Wicked Peacock designers, Magdalena Stokalska in the Pink Riverstone Necklace and ROARRrring an amazing dress by Trash. You couldn't ask for a better Tuesday night out.

It was exhilarating to see Wicked Peacock accessories paired with the stunning Lily & Migs collection on the runway! L & M's models walked to an upbeat soundtrack and were energetic and playful on the catwalk, pausing to peek over sunglasses or give a twirl. We especially loved the finale when the designers and girls did some celebratory dancing. You can tell Lily & Migs is a line for girls who like to have FUN!

Both designers were spotted wearing Wicked Peacock. Jennifer Barron wearing the Pink Riverstone Collar necklace by Magdalena Stokalska and Lauren Antos in a Seven Halos and Sophie Blake stunner.

Thanks so much to Christina K. Pierce Boutique Fashion Agency for producing an amazing event!
